Type City tops the shortlist for international web honor
May 12, 2008, Calgary – Veer, a provider of visual elements and design-related products has garnered international recognition in the 12th annual Webby Awards. Created by Veer’s in house creative team, Type City is a fantasy world made entirely of type. The site won in the category of Best Use of Typography.

The Webby Awards is the leading international award honoring excellence on the Internet including websites, interactive advertising, online film and video and the mobile web. This year’s competition received a record 9,500 entries from over 60 countries and all 50 US states. Webby Award winners will be honored at the 12th Annual Webby Awards Gala on June 10th in New York City.
